Our story began with a group of like-minded individuals who shared a vision for a better future. They recognized the need for a membership association that would support and promote good business practices. Today, we continue to build on their legacy by provideing our members with the resources they need to succeed in a rapidly changing, highly controlled industry. Founded in 1947 as the Indiana Tobacco and Candy Association, IWDA has been the only organization representing and advocating for the well being of wholesale distributors and manufacturers serving the C-store industry for over 75 years!
